Payment Options

At Darwin Music School, we understand that everyone has different needs and preferences when it comes to payment. To ensure convenience, we offer a variety of flexible pricing plans:

    •     Cash: For those who prefer to pay in person, we accept cash payments.

    •     Direct Bank Transfer: Manage payments online with secure and easy direct bank transfers.

    •     EFTPOS, Visa, and MasterCard: Pay via debit or credit card.

    •     $100 NT Sport Vouchers: If eligible, you can use $100 NT Sport Vouchers for payment. Contact us for more information on how to redeem them.

Lesson Pricing

We offer flexible pricing to ensure you get the most value out of your lessons. All lessons are 30 minutes long, providing a focused, effective session for you to progress toward your goals.

    •     Single Lesson: $55

    Perfect for trying out a lesson or for those who prefer a flexible schedule. Pay as you go, with no long-term commitment.

    •     Package of 4 Lessons: $200

    At $50 per lesson, this package offers a discount while helping you maintain steady progress.

    •     Package of 6 or More Lessons: $45 per lesson

    The best value for committed students. Ongoing, consistent instruction at an affordable rate.

All prices include GST and are due in full before your lesson. Please contact us if you need assistance choosing the right plan.

Before booking your lessons, please consider the following:

    •     Do you have sufficient time to practice between sessions?

    •     How long do you plan to take lessons?

    •     Does the pricing fit your budget?

    •     Can you commit to weekly lessons?

To schedule a lesson, send us a text or email with:

    •     Your preferred day and time

    •     The number of lessons you wish to book

    •     Your desired start date

Additional Policies

We value transparency and fairness. For details about cancellations, refunds, health and safety, and security protocols, please refer to the relevant sections of our website.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens, but to ensure we can accommodate all students, we request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations.

    •     Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: Make-up lessons will be rescheduled to the following Monday, subject to availability. If that Monday is a public holiday, the lesson will move to the next available Monday. Rescheduling is not guaranteed, and the lesson may be forfeited.

    •     No-shows: Failure to attend without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the lesson, with no rescheduling opportunity.

    •     If we cancel a lesson: We will notify you promptly and arrange a suitable alternative. Lessons scheduled on public holidays will automatically be rescheduled to the following week.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds. By purchasing lessons, you commit to completing them within a specified timeframe. All lessons must be used within 12 months of purchase. Unused lessons will not be refunded.

Health

To help prevent the spread of illness:

    •     If you are unwell or have been diagnosed with COVID-19, please refrain from attending lessons until fully recovered.

    •     One short-notice cancellation is allowed per person every six months without forfeiting the lesson.

    •     A maximum of three people (including the instructor) are allowed in the studio at any time.

    •     Hand sanitiser is available in the waiting room, foyer, and studio.

    •     Masks are required if you have cold or flu-like symptoms.

Safety and Security

Safety is our top priority:

    •     Security lighting is available in the car park after 7:00 PM, and all rooms are monitored by 24-hour surveillance cameras.

    •     All staff members hold a current Ochre Card for working with children (More Information).

    •     Darwin Music School is not responsible for supervising students under 18 before or after lessons. A parent or guardian must accompany children.

    •     Food, drinks, and animals are not permitted in the studios.

    •     Any unruly behaviour, theft, or property damage will not be tolerated and will be reported to the authorities.

By booking and paying for lessons at Darwin Music School, you acknowledge and agree to our terms and conditions.
