Original Work & Performance
Our students are encouraged to write and perform their own music. Our bands and ensembles perform regularly at local venues and events.
We encourage our students to sit for exams as their confidence and ability grows. Exams are prepared at the highest Australian standard and issued by ANZCA. Exams are optional.
A 5 octave keyboard with full-sized weighted keys and a nice piano sound is a great platform for a beginner. But if you take the instrument seriously, you'll soon out grow it. Buying the right guitar is difficult. There's so many shapes, sizes and types. And you need one that will suit or size and playing style. There's pretty much an intrument for every budget. We can give you advice to help you make the right choice.
Guitar Collection & Recycling
We don't buy, trade or sell guitars but if you have an old guitar that you don't need you can drop it in to us. We'll find a new home for it. As long as it's made of wood, we'll take it.
